The Reunion Committee is a dynamic assembly of dedicated family members, representing the rich tapestry of our Berry family. Comprised of cousins, sisters, brothers, nieces, and nephews, this passionate team is united by a shared commitment to crafting an extraordinary 2024 Berry Blessed Family Reunion. Guided by familial love and collaboration, they seek to create a space for family to convene both physically and virtually. This website serves as a meeting ground for ideas and thoughts to be conceived and implemented, fostering connections across generations. Looking ahead, the committee envisions future goals that extend beyond the reunion weekend. Plans include orchestrating the ability to support family members in need through scholarships, ensuring that education and opportunities thrive within our family tree. Additionally, the committee aims to create a seamless platform to accommodate funding interests for family reunions to come, fostering a tradition of togetherness that will endure for generations.

Pamila, a devoted individual shaped by the guidance of her parents Elmore (Bee) and Bessie Campbell, as well as the enduring legacy of her grandparents Talmadge and Julia Berry. Proudly rooted in the close-knit community of Amherst, Virginia, Pamila cherishes the values passed down through generations, with her favorite saying, “Family is everything,” reflecting the deep bonds she holds dear in her familial connections.

James & Heather

Meet James Edward Jr. and Heather, a dynamic duo. James is the son of James Edward Berry Sr., the fifth child born to the esteemed union of Talmadge and Julia Berry.

Rooted in a heritage shaped by love, dedication, and a rich family legacy, James carries the spirit of his parents and grandparents forward. Heather, his partner, brings her unique energy to this familial narrative, enriching the Berry story with her own experiences and passions.

Nancy M.

Nancy M., is the beloved daughter of Henry Jones and JanMae B. Douglas. Proudly standing as the granddaughter of Talmadge and Julia Berry.

In the realm of family, Nancy is not only a devoted wife to Greg but also a loving mother of two and a joyful grandmother of three. 

Nancy finds fulfillment surrounded by the warmth of her family, exploring new horizons through travel, seeking solace in moments of quiet reflection, or actively making a difference by volunteering in her community.

Vincent T.

Vincent is the youngest son of Thomas Wilson Berry Sr., and stands as a pillar in the Berry family lineage.

Married to Kim Tyler for 36 years, Vincent is not only a devoted husband but also a loving father to Vincent Rodney Tyler Jr. (VJ). 

Vincent’s interests include quality time with family, exploring new destinations through travel, cheering for the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens, supporting the New York Knicks, perfecting his golf swing, or taking on the role of an officiator in college and high school basketball.

Debbie R.

Meet Deborah “affectionately known as “Debbie”, the eldest of the love union of Doris Berry and Henry Anderson. Adoring parents that took great care in planting seeds of love, caring and teaching the importance of faith, family, and finance in their Christ-centered home.

Embracing her upbringing, Debbie’s personal and professional life are centered on service. She is a committed selfless servant, sharing her time and talents where needed –quietly busy behind the scenes getting the needed job done.

Proverbs 18:22 tells us He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord. Debbie’s unwavering supportive partner, Ernest has obtained favor, together they have one child, Meghan ~ this dynasty has poured into the lives of many—exemplifying their self-proclaimed motto: blessed to be a blessing.  

Clarissa R.

Clarissa R. embodies the essence of the Berry family as the great-granddaughter of Myrtle Berry, a pivotal figure in the family’s enduring legacy. Myrtle, the daughter of Silas and Maggie Berry, cultivated a life surrounded by love and familial bonds.

Within the embrace of a large family, Myrtle shared her journey with six siblings: Pershing, Talmadge, Harvey, Ethel, and Gladys. Her nurturing spirit extended to raising five children, Tony, Lee, Gilbert, Mildred, Roy and Janet “Yvonne.” Janet, affectionately known as “Honey” within the family, continued the tradition by bringing two sons, Eugene and Rufus, into the world.

Clarissa R. gracefully steps into this familial narrative as the daughter of Eugene, affectionately called “Gino.”
